Pattern (Parquet) Blocks
My wonderful sister-in-law got us this set of pattern blocks from an education store. I LOVE them, and the kids love them too. I have seen patterns for making your own blocks online, but I would have to say this was definitely worth the money (100 pieces for under $10)

ReplyDeleteAh, the joys of pattern blocks. So much fun! I'd also recommend spending the money on counting bears, my kinders adore counting bears. Are you homeschooling the kids all the way through school?
ReplyDeleteI've been hoping to get counting bears sometime soon too! We are hoping to homeschool all the way, but we're just taking it one year at a time! We're going to give it a go for Pre-K and Kindergarten and reassess the situation. We're in a great area for it--lots of museums, social groups, etc. I've been doing LOTS of reading on it and I'm getting really excited for it!!! :)
